Within easy reach of the Station there are a great many hills and mountains that provide opportunities for both novice hill walkers and experienced mountaineers of all ages.

Alternatively, the views over Loch Earn give a tantalising glimpse of the water based activities available. On the various lochs & rivers in the local area, activities include sailing, canoeing & kayaking, white-water rafting and fishing, which are all possible.

For those wanting to get out on two wheels, there is a Sustrans national cycle route running from Calendar all the way through to Killin. The route offers a variety of terrain & gradients from the forest at Strathyre, to the climb up Glen Ogle along the old railway line, all the time giving you superb views & thrills.

And for those wanting to do some rock climbing, why not try out the crags at Benny Beg near Crieff.
